I don't know why people dislike the East broad top 17 - 3 chime, Like yes It has The "3 chime," But It definitely gives it some nice difference from a lot of other whistles.

Are there any plans to restore the railroad line for steam excursions?

Went to the EBT last weekend to tour everything and our tour guide mentioned that his least favorite whistle is 17's. While I can definitely understand why now that I've heard it, it's a very characterful sound

So exciting! Haven't seen an EBT Mike with piston valves and Southern valve gear run in person. Anyone know why the cylinder cocks seem open all the way up to McMullin's Summit?

I am super excited. I am a BIG fan on the EBT. Every time I go visit my brother in PA I stop in Orbisonia to see if there is any progress on the restoration.

Look at that track in the opening scene! This same place today looks like class 1 rail thanks to Gene Tucker and his crew.

This just gets better every day! Now all that's needed for the first Winter Spectacular is some snow.
